What about closing your Facebook account?

Facebook is getting more and more a problem while trying to handle a suitable online presence as well as trying to keep personal data on a safe side.
Lots of people have been recently hacked and someone is posting on their behalf.
Will you close you Facebook page, as a marketer? As an individual?

While Facebook is not my favorite or most successful social media platform, I will keep it open for the time being. The way I look at it is that any of the SM platforms could be hacked at any time. (Given the brilliance of hackers). I lead with that notion and only provide personal information that I am comfortable everyone knowing..

I only use Facebook for business purposes on my Fan Page as it is essential in the fitness industry in which I am a part of. Also, I don't post personal content on either my main page or Fanpage..

Until Facebook falls out of grace (it will) I will stick with it barring any major snafus that come along.
