XperLink makes responses from the best experts in Europe and throughout the world available to professionals, scientists, students and entrepreneurs by giving them direct access to the answers to their questions.

To answer a question, join in a debate or comment on an idea …

1. Find the questions to which you’d like to respond: To do that, check your topics, visit those topic pages and read through the open questions in those topic areas.

2. When you have selected a question, read it carefully, bearing in mind that the questioner is not an expert on that topic and may have framed their question in an odd way. Most questions are posted by a named author, but some will be posted anonymously, if the author doesn’t want to be identified, for example “How do I split up with my business partner?”.
Don’t under-estimate such questions; there is always a need behind them which requires an answer!

3. Click the “Answer this question” button, a form with a WYSIWYG text editor will appear so that you can post a detailed response.

4. Post! Your text will appear in your personal information feed on your home page as well as in the feed of all those who are following the question and any of the topics being addressed. Anybody who is directly following the question will receive an email notification, starting with the person who posed the question.

Be sure to be as detailed as possible, but make sure that your answer will be understood by non-specialists. Adapt your answer to your audience; there will be clues in the way the question was asked. When you post a response to a question, you will then be following it automatically. You will receive immediate notification if another expert expresses an opinion or comments on your answer. Feel free to post a follow-up response and don’t be afraid of expert debate!
