Once we get the effort to author such games down further, the potential is boundless! Think of such a game as an opportunity to capture the expertise of a great teacher and replicate it on every desktop. IOW, the game is the user interface for the expertise rules, allowing them to exercised by the student.

One thing to keep in mind, though, is to ensure that every such game makes very clear the distinction between the game world and the real world. Otherwise, it would be easy for a student to lose that distinction during full immersion in the game.
