English language site updates need improvement

Hi Antoine, Well done on the recent devlopments for vanity URL, long description, photo upload and more, very good. Apropos our email discussion, have the English language Twitter notifications been changed yet? I ask because I'd like to switch them back on when they're ready. The issue was the updates were going out with (respectfully) incorrect grammar which doesn't look good for anyone ;-)

Yes - we changed the description.
We now have the following:
- I asked a #question on #topic > [here comes the url] via @xperlink #xper
- I answered a #question on #topic > [here comes the url] via @xperlink #xper
- I commented an #answer on #topic > [here comes the url] via @xperlink #xper
- I opened a debate on @xperlink about #topic > [here comes the url] #xper
- I submitted an idea on @xperlink about #topic > [here comes the url] #xper

The topic presented here is the first of the contribution topic list.
Are you more comfortable with those?

Thank you very much for your help and support and for pushing improvements :)

Hi Antoine,

The third one should be I commented on an answer (missed the 'on')

One further suggestion, it might be an idea to use the persons account name rather than 'I' so you can retweet certain ones you like?

Also, no offense but I think the hashtags for #answer and #topic would be better replaced with just the the words, it makes tweets hard to read with three hashtags in one tweet, just my humble opinion.

Same with the 'on @xperlink' better with just on Xperlink and add the @xperlink at the end of the tweet, what do you think?

Not sure what the hashtag #xper is for?

Best, Roz

Roz,
I changed the comment "on" as you requested - thank you for pointing it out.
I also removed the first #, but kept the one on #question that is quite popular, and may give to the tweet a better visibility.
I kept the "via @xperlink" that opens a browsing possibility to the reader who can eventually decide to follow us, this is a twitter standard.
Do you think it may prevent people from using this mechanism?
For the #xper, it is (was?) a common tag for expert tweets, but it looks obsolete as we are now almost the only publisher on that tag - we may remove it in the future (not yet decided).
Thank you again for your valuable remarks!

Hi Antoine, great I think that will help. :-)

Just FYI, the button to react to this question also needs an 'on' it, currently reads as "comment this reaction"

How are things going with the upcoming press launch?

Regards, Roz
