Health and Fitness Expert / Fitness Entrepreneur / Flying Trapeze Student

In 1993 Kevin M. Norris moved to Washington, DC as a top business school drop out to embark upon an illustrious personal training career. His first clients were trained out of the back porch of the group home in which he resided in Chevy Chase, MD in an effort to pay for his college degree in criminal justice at American University. His equipment consisted of a lat pull down machine, six sets of dumbbells and a yellow and blue bench press and a name for his company, Mind Your Own Body.

What began as a hobby with nary a vision or business model blossomed into a full time personal training career. Kevin has since parlayed his personal training business into a full-fledged health, fitness and wellness entrepreneurship. Today, Kevin is a leading health and fitness expert and specializes with training older adults.

Kevin maintains a personal training schedule of clients, is a Wellness Coach and operates a small business consultancy specializing in coaching personal trainers and business owners within the fitness industry.

Kevin is the Health and Fitness columnist for the nationally published and award winning LGBT newspaper, the Washington Blade. He has a multi-media resume of television appearances with NBC, ABC, FOX News and Howard University, a live fitness demonstration at the White House and as the Personal Trainer to the DC Cowboys who in 2008 advanced as semi-finalist for the hit ABC-TV television show, America's Got Talent.

As a Senior Adult Population Specialist, Kevin was privileged to train senior adult superstars, 98 Year Old "Granny" Evelyn Wimmer and Ms. Agnes Jackson, holding the title as the oldest client who periodically escaped from exercise class. She thrived to be a spry and feisty 106 years old.

Currently a Flying Trapeze Student.
