I started a company, Ann Arbor Terminals, in 1970, totally bootstrapped. We were the first to bring out a product to put computer data on a CRT screen for commercial (ie, non-military) application, ending the punched-card era.. Found wide application in industrial plants worldwide, then the medical equipment market and through most of the '80s, computer display terminals for the Unix market. We were also the first (mid-70s) to have an all-woman marketing/sales staff (at least in the computer industry).
